Louis Aubaret commanded the French vessel 'Pregent' in the battle fleet of Admiral Charner. The present maps detail the chronology of the advance of a contingent of French forces from the Taku forts to Yuanmingyuan (The Summer Palace) and the details of all the camps and actions. 7 t" ~' ?" s6 I; b# T! u$ H: z
